Today I wore my grey 50s double brested suit with late 40s necktie. Unfortunately this week the weather was really awful, so I run out of shirts with a narrower collar.

This lovely linen suit was made for me by Rob Crossley of Rocacha. The shoes are a bespoke design made by Colin Johnson, the shirt was made by my wife, Tina. The tie is from a vintage dealer in London, but I can't remember who. And the hat, what can I say about the hat? It's a magnificent creation by Esther Weis. Look in the new hat thread and see it in detail.

So now you know how to insert an image, and you certainly know how to create one, will we be seeing more of the same? Welcome my friend, good to have you here in the Lounge.

Working from home today... Who says you don't have to get dressed when working from home?

Pendleton wool shirt (t-shirt underneath has the Triumph Meriden logo)
Guess "Brit Rocker" jeans
Doc Martin 'Creepers'
Belt from Langlitz Leathers of Portland, Oregon
And of course my much loved well worn flat cap.

Thank you GHT.

I've been performing a little experiment for a few months now to determine how long I can go without repeating the same set of clothes. I've sort of come to the conclusion that it will be as long as I want. But I will have mercy and not post them all here. I don't have a lot in the way of true vintage clothing, but I do aspire to a perhaps somewhat bygone look. Today's selections follow,
