I've been working with clothes a lot today, but what I'm wearing right now is my Johnstown Traction Company repro uniform. Pennsylvania transit in the '50s and '60s!

This clay badge became the first of many I've made.

Real smart uniform. Your uniform makes me wish my city didn't get rid of the trolly cars in favor of busses! I bet you don't text while at the controls of one of the museum trollies!

Shiny button is not actually that shiny...

Apologies for the annoying flash on the button; they're actually a lovely horn material, the flash just caught it at the wrong angle.

Tie is MacKenzie tartan; the tartan of my old regiment. Shoes today were brown leather Clarks. Can you tell I have a 2 year old? lol

Thank you, kind sir! And as far as using one's phone while in service, you can bet I don't! But of course, even if I wanted to, the ol' museum is in such nowheresville that I have no service. And I rather like that, actually.

Gin & Tonics, that's a neat outfit, still works well for all the contrast in it! And I empathize with the darned camera flash... I had to re-shoot many a photo because of some beam of light catching my cap badges the wrong way.

Thanks, Steven. I might not have chosen that hat for that particular outfit save that my hat collection is extremely small yet and it was the best I had to go with it. My wife was horrified by the outfit and hated the jacket, so I said I would see what the loungers thought of it. So far so good ^.^

She's a sweetheart, but she doesn't know much of anything about men's attire.

lol thanks for that! Well, I tried to adhere to some of the advice given by folks like Mr. Deckard, ie. matching similar patterns in different scale (in this case small squares vs big tartan) and went with colours that seem harmonious.

Really interesting clothing you are wearing, but l am not sure the colours are all working together.

The second photo
Lots of interesting things going on in the top half and it looks nice, but the bottom half is much plainer and doesn't really work with the top half. l would have chosen a skirt with darker bold colours so it doesn't get over powered by the top half. l would like to see the entire outfit flow a lot more.

As for the photo, well that's a very long story actually.

That pic is actually of a baby we've been trying to adopt from Eastern Europe for the past four or five months. His name is Ivan and he was born with no arms and only one improperly formed leg. Sadly our hopes of adopting him were dashed recently because an orthodox priest snatched him to take to his "private orphanage". He hates international adoption and goes around snatching kids that are about to be adopted. The guy is a fraud and charlatan, judging by all the info we have about him.

In any case, sorry to get off topic; we're going forward with the process to adopt a different special needs child and just putting ourselves in God's hands.
