It's getting warm here in New York, so it was time to convert to straw and spectators.

The same day in my film class I had the pleasure of meeting actress Elizabeth Shepard who co-starred Vincent Price in the film "The Tomb of Ligiea" (1964) which we had screened prior to her arrival. Elizabeth was very kind and fun to listen too, and even re-enacted one of the scenes for us.

I haven't posted in here in awhile, but I'm wearing this 40s sun dress and matching jacket that I recently won on ebay, so here goes.....

I can't decide if I look like I'm wearing a picnic tablecloth made into a dress or not lol

You look stunning!

I don't think it looks like a tablecloth, but you can add a brooch in order to dampen (not sure about this word) the "tablecoth look" :)

You folks are really looking top shelf!

Sharp in New York G.E.F! I would kill to be going to film school, let alone check out New York. These are the best of days!

Darling Rue... you are truly a heart breaker!

Oh and BTW: not a chance on the tablecloth look. It's perfectly period and I LOVE those shoes! It's great to see a variation of the standard B&W.

If you weren't married, I'd make a very uncouth suggestion about spreading the picnic tablecloth under the big maple in my backyard and have a jug of wine, a loaf of bread, and then there's thou...

Oh, dang. Sorry.

I think it looks lovely and perfectly period. The shoes really sell it.
