Sorry for the filters ( the pics are for my blogspot), and sorry for the tired face .. but I am a hayfever patient, and my nose/skin and eyes are a battlefield :(

Break out the straws...

Here in S. California, the weather is heating up, so a Golden Gate straw fedora is more than welcome. c.Early-40's DB suit with pleat-less trousers from Griffon Clothes, sold by Trotter's in LaGrande, Oregon (see avatar); Nordstroms 100% shirt; un-labeled, Geometric Bold Look necktie; CHS suspenders from W. Germany; un-identified gold-tone tie clip.

Hello, I'm new to the forums and I thought this might be the best place to introduce myself. :D
The name's Tim, and I joined because I love almost everything to do with the 1940's; The clothes, the cars, the music, and even WWII stuff. So when I found this forum, I knew it was for me.

So without further ado I present, well, myself:
This is what I wore for church Easter Sunday.

And this is a close-up of me in my hat. (Just ignore the giant pimple between my eyes and the piles of junk :p )

I know my attire is not quite as impressive as some of the people I've seen on here, but I try my best. :p

By the way: Widebrim, love the photos, you look like the genuine article. :eusa_clap

Aside from always being spectacularly well turned out, Miss Tuppence seems to have a penchant for staircases.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Today, taking my son to a checkup and then errands around town.

I wore a similar outfit to York a couple weeks ago, but with a different tie, '30s instead of '40s pattern trousers, and brown brogues.

Nick, I really like your style. I would wear every single item too (except for the pipe because I don't smoke. But it looks cool) This Evadress Jacket is great for a vintage casual look.
