Yaay! The weather bucked the forecast (rain, rain & more rain) so we got snazzed up for a quick pint or two at one of our local pubs... dig my new 40s overcoat (my Christmas prezzie from the missus) and Susquehana velour Hannay fedora – just gotta get the shoulder pads reduced in the coat, give me an extra inch in the arms... my wife's dress was purchased in Bridport on Saturday, a gorgeous 1930s flapper rig with deffo Clarice Cliff overtones! Happy Christmas y'all!

Liking that, Gijoe, tell me about the trousers how are they, fit, cloth weight, etc.
The Fit is period correct, Not to baggy or to tight. High waisted. The fabric is heavy, a little bit lighter than british Army Cloth. Size is a bit on the small side, i have a 33 waist and ordered a 34.
fits perfect.

Hi All

Hat is Adams 3in brim. Shoes are beige and blue with broque design purchased at goodwill for $3 unmarked. Possibly 40-50 era?
The blazer, slacks and vest along with the dunhill tie and thomas pink shirt were purchased at salvation army store by my Daughter, all for under $35.00. So while not vintage, the price was great and my Daughter is dressing me in style. LOL
She loves finding us bargains...
Best regards and Happy Holidays.
