Lovely casual outfit Rue, much like I've been looking for work recently! Just a question... are you bare-legged or wearing nude stockings? I've always wondered about this, when it comes to bobby socks in the winter time... Same question goes for Tupps in your October outfit!

Miss T already answered your question perfectly (I asked her the same thing ), so I will just answer your other question.... I was bare-legged. It wasn't that cold out (about 37F), but now that it's in the 20s I'm going to have to wear stockings with them

Thanks everyone for the kind words Sorry for the light flares, after the shot was taken we were informed that no photos were allowed in the theater (but at least i got one) I don't post myself often between work with the wee ones and ceramics class i fear for my threads but its nice to know that when i do it will be appreciated by others here.

Modern I'm afraid, just a high waist/wide leg (well, as wide as they do it in these considered fashions ) from Hobbs. A past season style, called Houston, in a mix of linen and wool.

Thank you, Miss sofia! I like to have fun with colors, textures and patterns. What the photo doesn't quite show is that the green shirt is made of end-on-end cotton broadcloth, and the tie has some thin yellow stripes -- the same yellow shade of the pocket handkerchief. The Donegal tweed --cream and brown, not greyish as the pictures shows-- has flecks of crimson, rust and yellow.

You should get someone else to take your pictures so you don't feel so self-conscious and post more often.

Quite seriously your posts in this thread are always very enjoyable because you have a certain ease with which you combine so many different colours. It's good inspiration for someone like me who rarely ventures outside my white shirt comfort zone.

Out of curiosity, do you ever wear two pocket squares with that suit (or other jackets with two breast pockets)?

I guess that is the Donegal tweed suit that made me so hot in this other photo you posted some time ago, right?
