Today on another forum they're doing a celebrity-inspired-outfit WAYW challenge. This is my entry (worn yesterday, but posted today).

Dig the sweater and the hat, I'm on the lookout myself for a light colored hat just like that. It's a sharp hat!
At 4:25 in the AM !! When do you sleep? The Lounge isn't That interesting. My alarm goes off at 4:30 to get up for the day.
Ah..to be young again!

OK you caught me! I was in fact up until 3:30 AM, but it was in part due to an English essay to write for my online class, and a little off-time afterward. I sure do stay up late... Thanks for the kind words though, I bought this on eBay, it's a Stetson St. Regis model homburg that I converted to a two-inch brim fedora. I'll certainly enjoy wearing it more often this way. The sweater was gifted to me during Christmas, and I wear it quite often when it's cold around here... in Southern California no less.

Orgetorix - you should try a Stan Laurel look, as you are the *spitting image* of that golden era comic icon. The first pic of you in the boater is just *Stanley* (scratching head :) )

Which reminds me-- I've found myself thinking of Oliver Hardy when using ATM's lately. Now that most of the option-selecting is done with virtual buttons, on a vertically-mounted screen, we get several chances to try Ollie's "stand aside and let me show you how a door-bell button should be pressed" routine...

It's not even near summer, but I wasn't planning to set a foot outdoors anyway, so I thought I could come away with a summer dress and color myself a bit to avoid dreary winter blue-ish feelings!
