Last weekend, Harris tweed jacket, tweed waistcoat, wool tie, CC41 marked collar, 50s trousers, Loake shoes, and one little boy who really likes Daddy's hat.

Wow Nick I really like the trousers. I wish I could find some like that in brown. Did you make them yourself? What kind of material are they?

Great photos Nick. Love the colour of the shoes and the co-ordination with the tie.

Where is it by the way, looks like York Minster's windows but doesn't look like the main entrance?

Thanks :) Yes, it's the side enterance to the Minster.

Yes, I just finished them. They're an olive-coloured wool, nice weight but tends to wrinkle a bit.

Looking good MM. Sunday afternoon we stopped by Jack 'o the Wood for a pint or two of Green Man, on our way back to the flat(bad)lands, and I wondered how you might be doing these days. After walking around with the hoards of folks who made it to the Apple Festival in Waynesville we decided to avoid the Parkway until we can go on a weekday. I also wondered if Mr. Big had been touring the Parkway, on a weekday, in that newly acquired Mayflower. The Parkway, in a '47 Mayflower, what a way to see it.

Posts 115 Doing very well, thanks!! I have been working since 1 August over in the far Western part of the State, and drive daily thru some truly nice country - some of it is so remote and not on the way to anywhere else, I have not been so afflicted with tourist traffic. I will be reporting 1 November to Ft. McPherson, GA for a 9 month tour of active duty - I am happy about that, but not about having to live 9 months in Atlanta. Oh well - at least I can come home on the weekends!! Take care!!

Yesterday was a good day to wear purple and a good day to take my daughter to get a pumpkin for her Jack'O Lantern

Cheers
