(Hello there- first post in this thread!)

Today was a very sunny day in Berlin, so I went to have ice cream with some friends:

My oh my...

If you ever happen to meet a hat-wearing guy here in Berlin who starts to swoon at the mere sight of you...well, that could be me! :D :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

You just reminded me of the song "Fraulein" by Bobby Helms

Far across deep blue waters
Lives an old German's daughter
By the banks of the old river Rhine
Where I loved her and left her
But I can't forget her
I miss my pretty Fraulein

FrauIein, Fraulein,
Look up toward the Heaven
Each night when the stars start to shine
By the same stars above you
I swear that I love you
You are my pretty fraulein

When my memories wander, away over yonder
To the sweetheart that I left behind
In a moment of glory, a face comes before me
The face of my pretty fraulein

Fraulein, Fraulein, walk down by the river
Pretend that your hand's holdin' mine
By the same stars above you
I swear that I love you
You are my pretty fraulein

I have now seen a grey pinstripe with brown suede that does not work. First time for everything. [huh]

l think the shoos are o.k, but the tie is not blending with the shirt. l'm not sure what tie would work, it's just a case of trying different colours/patterns and see what works.

Many of the folks on clothing forums struggle with combining pocketsquare and tie to an outfit, it's not something that comes natural to most of us. :(

Aw, thanks everyone!

Darhling, you look impeccable. And the buttons on top of your shoulders are a very cute detail! Gotta remember that for future sewing projects :)

First picture of me in this topic. It wasn't made today but a few weeks ago at a living history event here in the Netherlands.

Which reminds me, I'm still looking for a brown hat!

Diego, I like your outfit, did you go to the Razzin party in A'dam?

Lottie, I really like the outfit, especially the matching hair, well done ;)

Hallo Paul,

welcome to the lounge. Great place to hang out! No, I didn't go to Razzin.. You? is it fun?

Your outfit is great! thanks for the compliment. Do you have trouble finding a brown hat? just ask in the classifieds and I'm sure one of the fellow loungers will probably have just what you are looking for that he/she needs to get rid of..

You two would make a cutie couple. You should at least get together for a photo for us.
