Slim - well I guess it is back to blonde. After 3-4 years of being a brunette I was in the mood for a big change. Not a big clubber, but I have had turned a few heads in the streets at least.

I have one of these jackets, too. Its an older Banana Republic offering called the Traveler's Sport Coat, from the "Travel Safari Clothing" days. It's either the BR jacket or an exact duplicate made by the same manufacturer.
The only hangup I have with mine is the padding in the shoulders. It wears MUCH better on your frame than mine does on me. I'll see if I can snap a coupla pics of mine. Looking sharp, Gene!

Now that I look, I see mine doesn't have a US made tag, but rather it reads: Made In The British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. Also, all of my inside pockets zip. I have another, similarly cut fall/winter weight jacket that is US made from Banana Republic about the same era. Leads me to believe these were made under the same umbrella, in any event.

Your attire

I don't just mean your fedora and suit [or dress, whatever your gender may be]. What are some other looks you sport or what are some you'd like to sport? They don't have to contain suits or whatever, just a general look you/you'd wear.

I'll gladly start with mine:

Personally, I like to call this my "Badass Beatnik" sorta look, I'd love to add a black turtleneck with it come autumn again. You'll tend to notice I like to afix my red-gold spectacles with almost every look I wear.

This is more or less my "casual" 1920's/1930's look. I wanna get some more fedoras to sport with more of the looks I'll do around this era. Mainly 'cause it seemed like every man had eleventy-six different hats back in the day, and I wanna be the same way. A few hats for every look I do.

Here I be with one of my best friends at prom [the theme was Masquerade, I was sadly among the few to wear a mask]. I gave away this suit a couple weeks ago because it really doesn't catch my fancy like it once did. I'd love to do an even better Victorian look and maybe include a cape or something. Also, a better suit to suit those old Victorian days. It's hard to tell about the suit, but it has very light pinstripes.

I'd like to do this look,but take my own liberties to it like replace the spectacles with it with my very own and replace the top hat with mine. I'd quite possibly replace the vest with a darker color as well, lighter colors tend to look stramge on me.

There's a full-blown 1920's/1930's look I'd love to try, and it is as follows:

• Black "Goodfellas" fedora [black band] [or a better fedora if provided]
• Optional red-lens Victorian spectacles
• Black double-breasted pinstripe suit w/ White Stripes
• Black trenchcoat [kept open to show off the suit]
• White dress shirt
• Black necktie
• Black leather gloves [with three stitches on the back of hand]
• Black belt
• Black socks
• Nunn Bush black cuban heel boots

Turns out my looks turned out to be kinda dressy. What about you Fedora Lounge, what's some looks you sport or what would you like to?

Without photos, I generally do Brit country gentleman for work in the Fall/ Winter ( tweed and cords). With fedora.
Middle- aged preppy in Spring/ Summer (navy blazer and khakis). With Panama.
Modified safari on weekends.
White tie and black tie are just what they are.
As long as I know time of year and what day it is, I can pretty much dress blindfolded.
