Went to a small classic car show today. Thought I should wear something nicer then usual. So I went with a 2pc. suit that is made out of a light material. Also thought I should wear pearls after watching Julie and Julia lastnight. Great movie BTW!

Thanks everyone! I had lots of fun today and got great comments for everone at the car show. They were all very nice and I got some great pictures of the cars.

But I must say it was very hot today. Didn't really stay cool and sweated my lil butt off. But I must say my hair stayed nice after I sprayed the c**p out of it with hairspray. lol

I don't often post to this thread, for a handful of reasons (laziness being chief amongst them). But every now and again I feel compelled and want to show off. Today is one of those days. Well, actually yesterday was, but it was too much effort to edit, upload and post photos last night.

This is just about the most vintage I've ever been at one time before in my life. I suppose I could've swapped hats for a period piece, but I'm really loving on the Wall Street right now!

Yesterday was: 1939-tagged (probably '39-'41) three piece SB by Hart Schaffner Marx in grey-with-white-and-blue herringbone-ish weave, random MTM shirt (one of the few that still fits me), blue-and-yellow amoebas-on-red '30s tie, previously-NOS socks from the '40s or so by Clifside Hose, Allen Edmonds Byron shoes in chili. Pants held up by modern braces of unknown provenance, other accessories include a modern pocket square rescured--I think--from a Nordstrom Rack, 1934 Longines tank watch and enamel cufflinks that belonged to my great-grandfather (who passed away in the '20s), all topped off by Wall Street #3 from our very own Art Fawcett.
