Here's my garb for today. Primarily consisting of an early 40's, US made double-breasted 3 piece suit coupled with a Austin Reed button down collar shirt and late 30's tie which belonged to my Grandfather.

Thanks again everyone, really making my blush  :D

Marcus, really like the Oxford shirt in the first photo. The collar is perfect!

Here's today!

Prior to lunchtime after coming back from horseriding and spending ages hosing the dirt/mud off my boots, consisting of 1930's riding breeches, modern riding boots, mid-40's sports jacket and one of my trusty button down Austin Reed shirts

Please excuse me looking slightly flustered haha!

And after lunch; 1940's British CC41 double-breasted black pinstripe blazer, pair of flannel trousers and black oxfords (my beloved black and white spectators are at the shoe-repairers)...oh plus a 1930's Repton School tie!

I wish I had your hair, Pip. :)
Although I think that I carry off the shaved head look without too much embarrassment, I do occasionally feel a touch of envy for the great hair styles you gents sport.

Pip-darling, not only do you have the best style, but you also have the best locations.. (thinking about how I can change my hallway & dressing room shots to something more exciting..).

The suit is from sometime in the 1940s. It wouldn't surprise me if they've been out of business for a good long time.

Yup, Grandparents remember them. Said they were a big deal around here back in the day.

who IS that mysterious woman in the Easter HAT?

This was what I wore to church today, Easter Sunday- though the hat stayed in the green room while I was on stage singing with my fellow choir members.

Vintage pieces:
wrist length gloves with crocheted inset
lt brown corde' purse

modern pieces:
silk chiffon dress
pashima shawl
Easter bonnet

I can see you, but you cannot see me~

I'm wearing a royal Stetson brown Fedora, Avirex A-2 Flying Tigers commemorative jacket, button down dark brown shirt, worn blue jeans, tobacco brown wingtips and a homage Swiss watch modeled after the Panerai 1950 with custom strap made of WWII leather. Oh, and my Cross "Laq" fountain pen in my jacket on stand-by duty.

Great looks, everyone. The brown suit series on Pip looks like something right out of Miss Marple or Jeeves & Wooster or the like. Thunderw21, Darhling, Quigley and Fleur apparently can NEVER take a bad picture. And MarcusB lights up finally in the photo smiling. ChanteuseCarey's Easter outfit's lovely as well.
