This is what I wore yesterday (and received nasty comments).

So what do the other kids in class in Nova Scotia think of the fedora and what not?

I think that rigout looks like it would be perfect for the weather.

Thanks for the compliment Slim and Carter. I find a great irony in the fact that everyone who knows me, would consider me kind and very considerate.
Yet, to look at this picture, you'd think I'd shoot you for looking at me
cross-eyed. lol

And Carter, I probably have ridden a drunken horse and probably could out drink one too!
I would love to have a voice like Mr. Marvin's. To hear me, go here:

Everyone here looks great. thunderw21, where on earth do you find those
incredible vintage suits, and they all fit you perfectly.

Dinerman, I love the way you use colors and layers.

Marzipan, don't let other people's ignorance get you down. I think you look
fantastic. You look great too, Staceface. Love the shoes.

Darhling,
As usual, you look lovely. Hope you feel better. I was beginning to wonder where you were.
After I have been sick, I still look like a zombie for a few days, but you have managed to pull it off again.

Dahrling,

OMG, that's the Dita dress! I'm watching it on eBay and now I'm definitely getting it made! Looks delightfully sinful on you!:)

Goodness Darrrrrhling, the wait was agonizing but the end result was astonishing.

You look absolutely fantastic, more than fantastic...beautiful, exceptional. Words cannot fully describe it ;)

Absolutely adore the collar of the dress, suits you perfectly! The same goes for the glasses, they look fabulous!

Thank you everyone!! :)

Marzipan - I think you look lovely! People are just ignorant and tasteless.

Darhling - Your outfits are always impeccable. Your results are really making me reconsider Toprunway :)

And of course, all you gentlemen look smashing, as always!

Depends on the person, of course, but it seems to be pretty positive. And I've kind of eased into it. Now that the colder weather is coming, it's easier to go full vintage.

So...all those kids with their underwear showing are actually emulating a vintage look! ;)
Thanks, Sir RBH, for the enlightenment! You are still my sartorial hero!

Marzipan, If you simply must move...do you ride? I'm certain that a vintage 50's housewife in Texas must have ridden somewhere.

Staceface & Darhling, Lovely as always, ladies.

funneman, I'll give the voiceover(s) a listen. I did some VO work while in the Army for "First Federal Where the Green Grows" and "The Talking Yellow Pages".

You, "flirty"? never! ;)

Thank you all! To the ladies, I can really recommend the designer, I have always been really pleased with everything I have ordered and I feel I get a lot for my money aswell. Just make sure you measure everything and keep in mind you need room to walk, breathe, bend arms etc..

I am getting the dress made in bright red aswell!

with Joel Plaskett. He "liked the whole '40s thing", said that he knew a guy at a recording studio in Arizona that also did the vintage clothes, that I reminded him of the guy, that he'd seen me in the crowd and had been checking out the hat from on stage. I thought that was pretty cool.
