Ok, haven't posted here in a while, so here's yesterday (didn't snap one for today yet).

Tuxedo pleat front shirt (sleeves rolled up), same old blue pencil skirt and red heels that ended up just out of frame. I like the funny halo thing the light from the window gave me.

Hmmm, let's see here... I know I have more pics here, but I've to dig them up.

By the way, fabulous as always, Dahrling and Goldwyn Girl! Dinerman, you look absolutely smashing!!!

I tried to emulate this awesome look today, though using mostly modern stuff.

-1970s jacket and vest
-1930s tie, a recent Goodwill find
-1950s boater
-modern linen trousers
-socks from the GAP
-modern Florsheim shoes

Compare these modern Florsheims to dinerman's vintage ones.

I also wore this for a short time today. I got this jacket from YETI and am quite happy with it. The color is awesome and the lapels have very nice hand stitching along the edge.
Cheers, YETI!

Fabulous as always. I love the collar pin.

Thanks, bugsy. It came in that large group of tie bars and such. It's my only one and I love it.

At the range after church:

It was over 90 with high humidity and I had a flaming hot barrel. Burned my hand before putting the gloves on.

I have a rather classic 'adventurer' look going on with my vintage Portis fedora, Wal-Mart khaki shirt and khaki shorts. And, of course, the vintage Garand.

I hope people aren't tired of the kilted outfits

Not at all, I'd like to see more of them. To most people they are a costume item, unfortunately. I'm glad to see you keeping it alive and worn the way it was meant to be worn.

Just because they will hardly let you have ANY kind of gun in The PRK doesn't mean you have to beat on me Gary.....[bad]
:p
And...
YES, I was talking about the rifle.:D I actually have several M1 Garands, and have put new stocks from Boyd's under 2 of them. The others are in original stocks that have a lot of "character". They saw action somewhere for sure!

Thank you for the kind words. I see all you gents looking fantastic in your vintage and vintage inspired finery and wonder at times if I really belong here. Civilian kilt fashion's haven't changed all that much since the thirties - forties. Kudos to you for pulling off that boater with such style.

Cheers
