Unfortunately for me, classy is one of the looks my boyfriend doesn't like - as it makes him feel insecure. Complicated much?!

Anyway, today I went all modish. Eep.

I look all angry faced - sorry!

That is wonderful!

We have some very pretty girls around here.

This morning I saw a high-school age girl wearing a black dress with nice shoes. It really got me to thinking...I wish more women would dress like that these days.

That's OK, PM. You're still in the "Brotherhood of the Lapel Fly".

When I wear a fly, it's in the left lapel hole. I wear my flowers on the right, so as not to compete on the same side as my pocket squares (not an issue with the flies because they're so small). So I could conceivably wear a fly, a flower, and a square all at once -- watch this space!

Today's ensemble consists of a crisply pressed starched white shirt, a casually knotted knit royal army WWII vintage necktie, a knit vest (button uo),a pair of tan trousers, brown and white wingtips, and argyle socks. It's casual for me, but terribly dressy for my co-workers!

It looks like New England...

...it's freezing, the wind is blowing, there's some snow falling and just off the coast is a lighthouse, but alas...this is not New England :(

This is Olde England, or Colde England...so please excuse the lack of smiles and warmth in these shots, as it was far from being warm when I snapped these off this morning whilst walking the dogs.

All very functional kit here. Barbour woolley jumper over a Norge (Norwegian Army shirt), thick moleskin pants, RM Boots, Burberry Trench and Fedora (very firmly stuck on my head with a nasty wind just dying to rip it off!!).
