"A foggy day in London town
Had me low and had me down
I viewed the morning with alarm
The British Museum had lost its charm..."

Well, Appleton ain't exactly London (nor am I Fred Astaire), but it certainly is foggy here today -- visibility of about a half-block at best. Nonetheless, I tried to head out in style:

Pearl-grey cuffed trousers with slightly wide leg openings
Brook Bros. navy/white candy stripe button-down, open neck
Navy single-breasted three-button ventless blazer
Black woven leather belt with silver buckle and tip
Navy patterned pocket square, puff fold
Vintage trout fly in left lapel
Jos. A. Bank black/navy argyle OTC socks
Bass black tassel loafers with woven leather insets
Swiss Army watch with black band
Nautica black double-breasted topcoat
Black leather gloves
Blue horizontal-striped scarf
Champ black velour short-brim fedora with patterned great band and feather

Praise worthy.

Good looking outfit MK. Worthy of praise (get it?). Hey, I hear you're taking a trip accross the pond. You might consider wearing that outfit in one of those great English Pubs that I always hear about.

Gentlemen,you all look so dashing!

I decided to make Saturdays my anti-casual day and here's my effort for the first week.Just starting to play with the self-timer on my camera, but I'm hoping once I pick up a tripod I can get better lighting and backgrounds outside.(Must remember to smile)

In post 2220 in this thread Patrick Murtha tells the group he doesn't have a camera right now. In the meantime, I've really enjoyed reading his posts here. I'm sure he'll post pictures when he can.

Good to see Sir RBH again--has it been awhile or have I just missed your posts? It could very well be the latter!

Ruby--I think I need reference pictures of your haircut so I can blatantly copy it; you look fab.

You just keep upping the bar Marty! Your sense of color, the way you mix patterns and stripes, the fit of your clothes--just great. I always look forward to your posts here.

Patrick, sounds like a fine ensemble!!

When I read that great list of yours Patrick I made a few mental notes to myself as you sound like a man with some style and pizzazz!! So thank you ever so much for making the effort to post that, it's well appreciated :eusa_clap

A gent who sports a tie and a collar bar is okay in my book!!

You've also inadvertently reminded me that I must chase up my pocket watch, as I can't wait to get it up and running again and cutting a dash with a good old fashioned waistcoat!!

Kind Regards, PADDY M.
