Nothing much new here; just walking around Mussolini's EUR project with turtleneck, tweed suit and brown brogues.

And Happy New Year, all!

I'm wearing some new-to-me Polo gray flannels for the first time today, and I think they're already my favorite trousers.

Suit looks good, Jovan!
Ah, the grey flannel trouser. A classic. Hopefully someday I can be The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit. ;)

Thanks again, everyone. It means a lot to get such compliments from such well dressed people.

New pants?

Dinerman, are those the new pants that you recently picked up from the Curling club? How's the fit? By the way, what happen to all of your snow?

those are the ones. They're a tad short, but nothing to really worry about. The snow in the other picture was from up in PA, we haven't had much, and the snow we did have melted all away.

Nothing special really

Just a sweater that would make anybody look fat and a really nice Akubra Squatter.

It was hovering at about 20 deg. F. in that picture. A good fur hat will keep you warm. :)

Marty, the shirt and tie are sweet.

Dinerman, the black is very, ummm, dark. Looks good and I don't think the pants are too short. There's a definite break in the crease.

the picture isn't a blur, life is!
this jacket is a Levi's repro that has a wrap around seperate belt. I feel like it's something youd' see from WW1 or something FW Murnau might have worn on set. (use your imagination in all its blurry goodness)

not sure why I look so bell-ish here... well, let freedom ring I suppose :p

truly, sorry for the out of focusness here.. have to figure out a better way of taking pictures. What do you think though, do these colors work together? I'm colorblind and usually stay away from greens and browns because they aren't easy for me to see well, so I don't know what works well together or not.

Whatever the era, I like it and think it does indeed look like it was made for the Golden Age even if it was not. Definitely be proud of it.

thank you very much! that means a lot to me! what do you think about color combination options though?

The color combination looks good. The tie goes well, especially with the red to give the neutral suit some pop. You might also consider a pocket square. The white shirt adds to the simple yet mature look of the suit.

I had a pair of these in black and the "rivets" fell apart! I've never seen anything like that happen before! Worst western/victorian company I ever bought! No issues on your end with them?
