Guttersnipe, I am happy I snatched the jacket. My tailor had to let out the sleeves as far as he could, and it worked just so. I have the mustache for at least a year, maybe two. I rather like it. It's the only kind of "beard" I can manage as I don't have much facial hair.

I grew up playing it in western Maryland. Lots more fun than 10 pin, IMO.

I played a game last month in a really old school alley, with manual sweepers and transparency projectors at each lane to display your handwritten scores. Pretty neat.

Can't say I've ever played in a tie, though!

These are traditional Norwegian winter boots called labber. The commercial name is "Nesnalobben".
The pair I am wearing was my great grandmother's and then my grandmothers. They have been mine for about 6 years now.
I have several pairs as they keep me warm and go with my vintage.
