What are you snacking on?

Shopping day today and at the register was the barrel filled with the Polish made sesame snaps. Have not bought them in maybe 20 years. Inflation has brought them up to 2 for a buck (I think it used to be 5 for the buck). Just had one now and damn they are a tasty little snack.

You got "Hot Dog", we got "Cold Dog"!

A traditional little cookie pie with cocoa-coconut oil cream or couverture. But much cocoa like bitter chocolate!

I am theoretically opposed to retailers selling seasonal goods ridiculously early, such as selling pumpkin Peeps in August.

But I am also a weak man and haven't had a Peep since Easter, so when I saw these in the store yesterday, my theoretical values went out the window.

bought a bunch of Buffalo and Cranberry jerky. Very good, not as dry and tough as the usual jerky. Tastes great, high protein, low fat. They make for good snacks. Made by a husband and wife team of buffalo ranchers in Saskatchewan.
