As the leftover Halloween candy gets down to the few less-popular snack-sized packages, I've been snacking on Whoppers and Almond Joys (Heath Bars, Take 5s, Milky Way Darks, Three Musketeers [really love them] and Butterfingers are all gone).

As many of you know, I try almost all the "special edition" Oreos. Well, I tried the "Mystery" special edition yesterday and it was the absolute worst Oreo I have ever had.

It had a horribly strong chemical taste and smell - like fruit loops on steroids or an amped-up creamsicle. You take the good with the bad - some special editions have been good, this one was not.

I'm glad I didn't buy these!

I had some chocolate covered almonds tonight. Have to be careful, though, since almonds have a lot of fat - but they're also a great source of protein. I *could* just eat regular almonds, but the chocolate makes them more palatable.

I cooked myself sweet millet-grew, this afternoon. Nice for this first test, but I will go on with additonal milk to cover the taste of the millet itself.

We are snacking on some of Super Girlfriend's holiday production run - cut out cookies, gingerbread bundt cake and pecan balls
