Obviously Bob Seger was the one to have the big hit with it.
Rodney Crowell & Steve Earle are the two to outlive all their contemporaries like Townes, Guy & Rosanna, Prine, etc. I’m sure he was thinking about that when Rodney released this last arrangement.
