Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm new to this forum, i. e. I am a novice to such phenomena in general. It was a relevation that there is somebody out there that takes an interest in the things I do, even more of a relevation that there are thousands of such people.

In Austria there used to be a man, Guenther Schifter, who made about some 1,500 broadcasts called "Shellacks and Shellacks and Shellacks" from the 1960ies to 1999. He died in 2008. I used to listen to his program for decades and still do so every now and then as I recorded many of them. He was an expert for music of the 20ies, 30ies, 40ies and 50ies. The way he presented his shellacks, the stories he told of the times when he bought them or when they were recorded was unique. It was like a class of contemporary history. Learnt a lot by him. If you want to listen to some of his programs, you can do so online, here is the link: http://www.mediathek.at/virtuelles-museum/schifter/der-radiomoderator/gesamte-sendungen/#

Would really like to have your opinions.
