The Amazing Crowns' Hat Size. I really do miss seeing this band's always great, live performances.
:D

I haven't listened to those guys in years, really like 'em. They played down this way once, waaaay back, when they were still the Amazing Royal Crowns. I need to dig out the disc and give it a spin.

Hey Waiter, two Mochas
For Baby and for me
This will be a piece of crumbcake

My heart is easy
For Baby and for me
Therefore I'll try today's

Hey Waiter, two Mochas
For Baby and for me
This from Baby a kiss

Then I'll save the sugar
I'm just a poor guy
Waiter, two mochas and that will be all

Saw them once as The Amazing Royal Crowns and a couple of times as The Amazing Crowns and really enjoyed each show. Word on the street is that they are back together since some time last year, but It appears to be only part time.

The MC5 'Black to Comm': seven minutes and twenty seconds of blistering rock music. Utterly brilliant 'C'mon on down - Fight the power - gonna drop the bomb - this is black to comm'.

Red Jenkins -- The Cheatin' Heart Motel

The neon light from the motel sign
Turns her soft white body blue
While I whisper forbidden words
Like "I'm in love with you"
I'm cheating on the very one
I gave my promise to
Going down a dead end road
Like a desperate man will do

I'm at a no tell motel
Called the Cheatin' Heart Motel
And the radio is playing
My old hero Lefty Frizzell
I know it's wrong, still I go on
Heading straight for Hell
While I'm burning all my bridges
At the Cheatin' Heart Motel

Our passions turn to hunger
As we set our feelings free
For six long years she's been waiting here
To give me what I need
I wear a sad white circle
Where there should be a band of gold
I became a cheater
When love back home turned cold
