Not sure I would have taken away 'Bama's hope that he might get any of those while you are alive. In the line of work he was in he probably met some folks that might be willing to be "contracted" to speed up that inheritance.

Some hat content?! Might have posted this prior. No new hats since I built this one late last Fall...5.25" brim, 4.5" crown. 100% beaver. Not sure I like it all that much. Might have gone a little too far on the sizing and shape for my head. Surely does keep the sun out of your eyes though

Unfortunately I'm still looking. The black Nutria I bought with a center crease had major spiderwebbing at the crease ends front & back, & was cracked over 50% thru. The seller had a "No Return" policy but I got him to accept it back without opening an eBay claim under a major flaws argument. In total honesty I would not have resold it without full disclosure. It's been listed for sale again with no mention of the spiderwebbing.

Was looking at some sweats to find one that had the same Outfitter as another thread and grabbed Ol’ Blood and Guts here. Interesting with this one is it’s the thinnest ribbon i’ve ever seen, it is way old having the foil type tag, i think, and the sweat band is one fine leather. I think the goldstamp logo might be unusual too. I’ll have to check.
Yes, i’m inside sitting on the couch, wearing a leather jacket and hat. Too darn cold for outside pics.

This Byer-Rolnick product (made for a western store in Oklahoma City) in the early 1950s (?) has a really nice hand and a cool red liner (with red ribbon at the sweatband seam). Wish it fit me...
