Heck yeah! With photobucket and other sites limiting the size and quality, and sometimes removing the links entirely, there’s so many gems I wish I would have saved sooner. I have a folder of almost 200 saved photos, it’s nice just have for the occasional view and salivation.

I'm more interested in the classic lines of a hat than I am the felt. Like the lines of a classic car. Some hats have them, some don't. I enjoy most pics with good composition or a pic taken like it's from the era when the hat was worn. I would have loved to have been a design engineer working in the automotive industry of the 1950's - 1960's; today not so much.

This hat could have been a one owner as I bought it out of Ava, MO.

Vic, I noticed the NQ has a couple of pins, one of them being the RV. My NQ that you helped me identify as belonging to Rancheros member Lucien Wulsin III also came with a couple of pins, neither of which bears a makers mark but both are marked as Sterling. I was wondering if yours bore a makers mark?

No makers mark that I can see(that’s not saying much). Here is a good look at the buttonhole stitch binding.

Understood. I had to break out the magnifying glass and bright lights to find Sterling. The pins appear identical, down to the screw on back. I really appreciate the closeups. That edge binding is something. Beautiful interior on that hat as well.
