Well this certainly cleaned up nice. It is not so much my style but this is one cool hat. Still need to clean up the sweat a bit.

4 1/2 Centerfire Crease
3/8 black grosgrain ribbon
3 1/4 Brim with 1/8 matching grosgrain bound edge

Really love this non branded hat and really impressed how well it cleaned up. One of several hats that came in that used to belong to an old rancher in the mid west. No brand Mark to be found anywhere.. though it could have worn off from the sweat. Only markings is a hand written four digit number 4150 on the inside of the sweat and the spot where the size tag used to be. Which matches in location of a similar white one I received. The thin but supple sweat is both sewn and taped. It has a super cool Centerfire like crease... though its almost more a triple fire... or let’s call it hellfire crease. Playing with the brim I found I don’t prefer it fully up OR down... but more of snapped down at the break and curled up at the edge.

Thanks man. I gotta give credit to the old rancher who had the crown this way. But I sure as heck am not changing it though! Only the cleaning and the down and up brim is on me. LOL

I don't have anything on FFA being a model in the Resistol information I have. I'm thinking it was probably made to be sold at their youth conventions? DD @Desert dog is probably the most knowledgeable about the red liner hats, & Scott @Cornshucker77 lives in Sioux City area. He may know something about Stockyards Clothing & Supply, & if/when the FFA had a convention there.

1995 Rand 8X. Wore this one a lot thru the yrs Beautiful Silver Gray color but I don't remember what it was called then. Starting to show it's age so I'm thinking about sending a couple of mine in for a rebuild before Rand sells out.

Good ribbon on a big western.

It's a 4x6 but I don't remember the ribbon width. Thinking about sending it plus my 1987 10X Chocolate in. The 10X was a Rancher crease but I put it into a 4-corner a couple yrs ago. It's a 3-1/4 BE & the binding has faded & no longer matches the ribbon.
