The Bulldogger 3x6 by Moore Hat Co, Lawton, OK was a doctor's hat once upon a time, & was owned by 3 Loungers before finding it's way to me. And I appreciate each of you for that. Upon arriving it left behind its diamond crease & snapped down brim Strat wanna-be ways forever & returned to being a vintage Western doctor's hat. I call the color Bone as it has a cream colored cast to it. 3-cord ribbon & very soft.

Balmy 100+F on the river today. We went through a lot of water. Sunbody palm leaf hats will hold quart (in my 71/2 size with a 7" brim) of water for a while in that kind of heat. No better hat to keep you cool on these kind of days.

It's a Caddy....looks like a big 16 cylinder, no less.

Only thing left of my Dad's V-16 "stuff". From what I can find out it is a hubcap emblem from '30-'31. Might use it as a hat pin (to keep it on topic) -- maybe even in the position shown. Not sure what the "Cadillac" name badge is off of. He had a couple '38s (a V-16 and V-8) and several '41 V-8s in a variety of body styles.

The split bumper made me think earlier but I went with 1930-1935 because that was kind of the last gasp of the Phaeton era, the peak of the suicide doors, & because of the wire wheels. If the spare tire/continental kit wasn't gone from the running board it might tell us more.
