Western, anyone?

Forgot to post these last night. Portis and my last Jesse Bogle boots, actually my first pair made by him but the last to post.

I agree with Bowen. That hat has reached perfection in the crease. Looks great on you.

I'm a fan of that green Portis, Cuz, and I really like the way the stitching pops out on those JBs. It glows like a neon light.

Thanks, Cuz. Really enjoying your pics afield. Was wondering, the 'Needle Point' pic, is that from the Sipsey?

Excellent boots, elephant?

Thanks, Ken. Yes, with kangaroo tops.

New pencil curl on the green Portis Greg?
Best Portis on the lounge and best Bogle’s.

Thanks, B. Yes, I went on a bit of a curl binge after I curled that Bailey.

I agree with Bowen. That hat has reached perfection in the crease. Looks great on you.

Thank you, Bob. It's a favorite.

That one looks at home. I'm not a huge fan of black but that one looks smart in that configuration. I like it.

Thanks Randy, I'm pretty fond of it. But as the hat gods would have it of course something very interesting came to pass right after it arrived..

I love a good green hat, and that's certainly one of them.

Such a good looking hat and great job on the crease. Been some good looking Canadians (hats) showing up recently. I know you're glad you didn't cut it down.

Thanks Greg, This one has a decent story too. Found it on a 'local' for sale site where my in-laws live in Nova Scotia. The mother in law brokered the deal for me, and in good maritimer fashion had a 3 hour visit over coffee and snacks with the complete strangers who sold it to me.

Wow, very nice old-time 10 gallon looks on those hats today. You're going to force me to wear my Tom Horn inspired Beaver 100 tomorrow just so I can keep my membership in the club up to date!

I finally had time to change up the shape on this sugar white Canadian Stetson. Boy I’m grateful for the lounge and the schooling I get here. My original thought of cutting this brim down would have been a travesty.

Another killer combination, Cuz!
I was at Rock City yesterday, if you hadn't already figured it from my other posts.

Thank, Cuz. Looks like a fun weekend.

You already know how much I like that Portis, BB. Looks really great with the pencil roll too.

All thanks to you. I like it too and am glad it's now cool enough to wear.

Love the 4-corner too.

Thanks, Jack. Inspired by yours.

Santa fe Montichristi calls this a Whistle Ryon crease. Anyone else call it something different?
I call it: "what I like to do to my rancher/cattleman crease hats to soften THAT crease when I do not have enough crown to do much else" crease....;)
I do that "reverse center thumb dent" on those......which is what I call it anyway.....I have three or four like that...
