You're welcome buddy, and thank you. I have a black Beaver Brand that I just sized up and is still sitting on the block. I even got some nice 3/8 black ribbon for it and I still have enough brim to keep it Western. My only problem is deciding whether to convert it to a Strat clone or do I want to make a Western out of it. That's my only hold up for that hat at this point. I thought of making it something similar to a Bret Maverick hat, except with a few of my own touches. Still deciding.

Thanks guys. I don't know what Stetson called it but it's most like the color in the pic with me wearing it. I call it Tobacco. It reminds me of cured Virginia Red Tobacco. When it gets over exposed in pics is when it takes on a more gold color.

My wacky Akubra Sombrero. Not sure if it’s historically accurate in any way, I bashed it in a bathtub and it changes shape over time. It’s the perfect shape for kayak fishing. I imagine some Cowboy out there had a similar hat, I have been compared to Stinky Pete from Toy Story.
