I'm still undecided on it, buddy. So I'm open to more suggestions. I'd love to see the No. 1 Center Dent you have.

Here you go, TJ. What I'm wearing today. Crappy pics.

That’s a great hat! If Terry’s Borsalino turns out anything like it I’ll start hunting for one of my own.

I've actually set it aside for now until I decide for sure what I want to do with it. I'm not quite convinced that Western's the way I want to go with it. Eventually, though, that Borsa's going to end up on my head in one form or another. It's such a nice hat and I really like it.

I rush into things. I’m glad you have the patience to wait and move slow. Maybe there are other conversion or refurbish projects you can work on while you’re waiting.

Thanks, DH. For me, if I want to go Western I want a brim width of at least four inches. This width doesn't suit me for it to be a Western. For a fedora, the brim is way too wide to suit me. But that can be easily resolved and I would have a nice Borsalino that would see plenty of head time. My hesitation is trimming the brim and losing the edge treatment, but then again, I would have a hat that I would actually wear rather than storing it away. So, I have to decide on what I'm going to do. Wear it, or store it. This hat is too nice not to be worn.

For now, I've moved on to working on a faded out Melton that a Lounger gave me. It's a heavier weight fur felt fedora of lower quality but should look pretty decent when I'm finished with it. The hat won't be a jaw dropper by any means but it will have plenty of character as if it were worn by an every day working stiff from a bygone era.

The widest western I own is 3.25". I prefer 2.5"-3" but it came with brim edging that just looked too good to cut off.:):)
