Love what you did with that on, HJ. I'm gonna have to up my western game.

Thanks Greg. I really like wearing it. The brim is not as thick as it appears in the pic. It appears that way due to the bit of curl I put on it. This one has been thoroughly soaked in a thunderstorm twice & took it all just fine.

I've been wanting another Woomera or a suitable candidate to try the crease in the pics below. I made an offer on a BIN this morning that I am waiting to hear back on.

I've got a SLOW Carpenter doing some remodeling , and I've got them put up to keep the Spackle Dust off of as much as I can .

He must be building you a hat room or a vault for all those safe queens!

Ok, as promised, here is one of my riding hats, it's a Resistol with a 3 1/2 inch brim. I've posted a couple of angles so you can see it..... let me know what you think, to see if we are on the same page. The hat band is my own work and so is the stampede string.........

Just a stock photo I found to illustrate the MP. I'm still looking at doing something like this, possibly with a Woomera.

ETA - I just looked at that again and it actually appears to be a Russell crease with the dent in front like the Mounties wear.

I would say you understand the concept & that is a pretty standard drawdown of the brim in front.

A Stetson 5x of something with long hair finish and it came with the branding iron pin.

I have one just like this one but a darker brown. Same hatband, almost like twins

HJ, what a great assortment there.
Joao, where does one find those woven hat bands? They always catch my eye.
I have the unfortunate disposition of being short, so my western hats can dwarf me a little and I don't wear them in public so much these days. But I confess I like them a ton!
