Very nice Bob! Great detail in the bead pattern. What is the width & how does it tie in back? The Texas Hatters got a new beaded band...

Michael R. I need another Woomera. I want to try the crease on the right. That would take up a lot of crown. Any idea what that's called?
Thanks BB. It would take some very thin felt to accomplish that I would think. With the four "compartments" maybe it should be called the candy dish or something.Jack, it looks similar to what I've seen called a "centerfire" but I've never seen one with the raised areas on each side.
Wow Bob, what is that?

I forgot about your previous post. I remember it now. Can't come up with a witty match for LMB.
How tall did you make the crown? Great bash by the way. Truly one of a kind.I think this pic was from an ad in some sort of fashion magazine. I kept it for several yrs trying to find a hat with enough crown & brim to replicate it before I learned of the Woomera here on FL. Maybe I'll use the Stetson ad as inspiration with another Woomera.
Johnny, from memory I think I used up almost an inch, from 6.7" open crown to 5.75" creased. At 4.01" the brim just needed to be flattened & I left a bit of a curl & a slight swoop in the front. I like wearing it.How tall did you make the crown? Great bash by the way. Truly one of a kind.
