Nice try, Bama!

I need to track down a western 7XCB ($50) to complete the set [emoji1]

If I remember correct you have a great 100 (Cav?) yourself.

I keep looking for the 7X myself, David. I do have a Stetson 25, though not an OR it can be shaped to ones desire. I hava couple Resistol 25's and that Cav 100. Stetson 100 would be nice if I ever win the lottery.

You'd have to fight me for them, Michael. I'm not selling them, just pointing out the original selling prices. [emoji1]

I thought you might have enjoyed too much Strange Brew at the Stockyard ! Haha ! ;) But you never know . They're Beauties ! ... I hope you find a 7XCB to make the set . I'll keep my eyes open .

I'm lucky to have an Open Road and Fedora style 7XCB, not found a western I like so far.

Two on my bucket list when I win the lottery.

I think I found the S25 for about 50 bucks on eBay, Joao. The S100 was part of a multi hat deal with Tim on eBay. It didn't go well (not all his fault), but at least I have this nice hat from the transaction.

I only need to be lucky to find one and no one else pay attention to it.
Don't forget I need to pay a lot more to have it shipped to me.

As mentioned elsewhere, my only western hat is a Sheplers exclusive, Justin 4x with a pinch front crease and what looks like a small teardrop crease on top. I can't seem to warm up to too many western hats.

Although I have been looking at some Open Road and Road Master hats (I know, I know... too small on the brim!) :)

That's just added to CATCH Joao before he says anything . I ordered a 7 1/2 (closest available size , with padding) Resistol 20X Conley , 5" Creased Cattleman , medium Brim Roll , 4 1/4" Brim . www.NRSworld.com ... hope it works . Tommy is the man at the Hat Bar .

I've seen some hats that are stylistically evocative of "western" type hats but arent a fullblown commitment to a traditional Cowboy Hat." These hats dont necessarily have to have a cattleman's crease combined with a big rodeo brim curl at the same time. A healthy brim with a bit of a rodeo curl and a teardrop bash can give you that feel, just as a cattleman type crease combined with a nice larger city style snap brim can do the same. So much depends on the degree and severity of the cattleman's crease and the size, degree and severity of the rodeo curl. Use em together or separately for the effect you desire. I was hesitant to go anywhere near true "cowboy" style but I do like many elements of "western." I wear an OR with a cattlemen's crease no rodeo curl and the brim is somewhat snapped down fedora style and I wear some center dents and teardrops with deeper, longer, setback pinches approaching cattleman's terrority and brim curls heading towards the rodeo.
