From the British History Series, "Horrible Histories," teaching children that learning history can be fun.
'Horrible Histories' is a collection of books that make history interesting to young people (though they have quite an adult following too!). They have now branched out into TV Episodes - something of a blend between 'Ripping Yarns' (remember them?) and Blackadder!! All very 'Boy's Own!!' in style.

This one is a salute to THE FEW during the Battle of Britain, as the pilots do their very own twist on a 'Boy Band' with 'salutes' to Take That and Boyzone - Enjoy!! (it's all very British 'tongue in cheek').

"Take that, Hitler". Hilarious but I just spent ages looking at oodles of other episodes! Absolutely great idea...loved the Terrible Tudors as well. I'm going to send the link to several old history teacher contacts. I'm sure they'll enjoy them as well. Thanks for posting that, Paddy.
