Vintage Walker Engineer Boot

Just bought these Walker Engineer Boots made in USA. I say in same group with Carolina and Chippewa Engineer Boots. I know all these company’s don’t make Engineer Boots anymore so left with second hand sites. I will have to Clean and Condition them when I receive them. Bought them for $47.00 not a bad price. I never heard of Walker Boots Before. Any info would be great.

If you're unfamiliar w/ the maker and haven't rec'd them yet, how do you know they're on quality par w/ Chippewa or Carolina?

Hi. Thanks for your response. I’m not really sure I can’t find anything about the Boot Maker. I’m just comparing how it looks in the pictures. It’s definitely not a Nicks,Wesson or roll club boot? Have you heard of them before?

Hi. Forgot to say they arrived dirty from storage so I Saddle Soaped them with BICKMORE Saddle Soap. Was going to use Bick 4 but Since they are a Work Boot I used Skidmores Leather Cream. The Leather Soaked in the Cream.

That’s Great you know how to date the boots. I say from the 1990’s? I believe Walker Boot is no longer in business? Can’t find any info on them.

They are so hard to slip on. Once on they fit nice. Very Heavy Boot.

Here's a question: I have a terrible time getting these boots on...

I can't easily get my heel into the cup because this piece folds over and blocks my foot.....

The shaft is pretty narrow…
Any helpful ideas?
