I suspect the lizard in those is Iguana like my FootJoys. Howard and Foster were a great shoe. Isshi has some I believe.

WOW! it's starting to Heat Up in the shoe threads. Very excite4d to have some "new blood" posting some great stuff. Cookie, did those arrive yet? are they as great in person as they are in the pics?????

The suede colour is a little washed out with age but snuggish fit 11C more like a comfortable 10.5D.

All is well! I am writing my thesis so a bit stressed out, but good nonetheless!

I am soon going to get a pair of high laced boots for hunting, 1950's, but it's the same pattern and last as was used in the 1930's (the Finnish vogue wasn't that lively). They are a bit like Red Wings without the moccasin toe.

No new shoes apart from them, though, sadly!

It must be my birthday because THESE recently arrived in the mail from my good buddy in Australia.

Regal Paddock Boots. NOS. KANGAROO Skin (I really like this skin. Very tough, and the "crinkling" is natural. They will get better with age, I think). Spade Soles. Oh My Gosh!

Yes, I know they're only laced halfway up. I can't stand having to loosen a ton of laces to get my shoes/ boots on. This works best for me.

A rather nice find for me, as I have been finding some really nice vintage shoes and boots of late, these are some footjoy spectators that are spade sole, not very sure of the year, but they will do just fine. I am having the heels worked on next week as my local cobbler can reproduce the heels or soles if needed and the heels have some edge wear that I dislike. The leather is pebble grain on the black and really clean suede on the white..these are size 11 C but are wide so they will work for me if I desire to wear them.
