Mighty Milans, mates!
I've posted this lid here before, but since the season is again upon us (and because Art is a mensch) I thought we could freshen up with some new photos from Straw Hat Day, 2016. Here's mine from Art, early last season...

I just put in an order for the Gambler in Milan natural. Man, this is fun! Can't wait.
Damn good looking hat Charlie, you sure I did that???

Just got a call from a potential client with some interesting information. I have thought that Graham and I were the only two hatters in the country making mens hats in Milan straw from the original wheat straw but at least for this year, Graham appears to not be making them but instead, taking orders for next year. Looks like I'm the only one for now. Very cool, ( I think)
I don't know what it means but cool
The next time someone asks me where I got my hat, I can tell them,"From the only guy that makes 'em." Yeah, I don't know why, but that sounds cool as hell.

You could but it would be a sweeping generality...I also see in a blog that they are using very wide plait but the principle is the same and I suspect so is the material. They are also using power tools Suitedcboy, I see motors on their sewing machines.
I wonder, could I claim the only "Fedora" maker?
