I have lots of shots that were taken to look completely period from the outset. All the following were taken by my talented friend, Gordon Ayres on a vintage camera with film. There is no photoshopping or retouching done to any of these images - they are all as they were taken. Ones that I have prints of all have a plain white border.

Taken in London during the Royal Wedding last year:

One of my most favourite pictures ever, of me with the lovely Lauren of the Lounge and one of my best friends.

There are some great examples here. I am going to throw something a little different in here

As the kilt is timeless I thought I'd put up this one, the kilt is new however made traditionally and the jacket is from the 1940's or 50's. They do not make them like this anymore. The modern jackets have plastic buttons whereas this one has bone buttons.

That first one could be from Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills collection

cindy-sherman-cinderella.jpg

Sherman began making these pictures in 1977, when she was twenty-three. The first six were an experiment: fan-magazine glimpses into the life (or roles) of an imaginary blonde actress, played by Sherman herself. The photographs look like movie stills—or perhaps like publicity pix—purporting to catch the blond bombshell in unguarded moments at home.
