Cool, perfect jackets. I underestimated the depths of your holding out lol.
Ha, still more hiding in the closet, I’ll try to get some more of em out

The other button up car coat style also cuff epaulets and beautiful pattern to the weave. Really too much coat for AZ desert climate but pretty cool stuff

Not a cool Leather Jacket but still pretty neat. I believe it’s 1950’s with that conmatic zipper. Very James Dean

OMG that is the EXACT jacket James Dean wears in Rebel. The McGregor Anti-Freeze. Jealous! Great score. Been looking for one like that.
Thanks
Yeah there rarely come up for sale, I want another one so I can continue to let this one sit in my closet and also have on to wear.

Yeah there definitely pretty rare, I’ve seen a few other ones on google images, and some that where on eBay a long time ago for hundreds of dollars.

Beck 666-RS vs Schott 654

Apart from chest pockets, the two are pretty much identical in terms of style, leather and hardware. The Beck features some fancier construction details: French seams on the sleeves and a double row top stitch where the sleeves are attached to the body.

Awesome write up. I like the comparison photos, etc. Is that the Harley book? Looks informative.

Teaser of my unlabeled Phillips 66 HH Halfbelt. It’s exceeded expectations and was thrown on my porch in a box that looks like it must’ve held a hand grenade. The jacket is absolutely mint. As good as old jackets get. I owe this thread better pics and details and will oblige when the light is kind. This one is an absolute stunner. Glad I took the gamble.

Beautiful one there Ton, I love the looks of this one, simple clean classic black halfbelt. I call dibs if you have to make room in your closet later.
