Vintage Nylon Windbreakers (Non-Military)

Didn't see this as a current thread, but if I'm in error then please merge.

Let's see those Swingster, MVP, Cap'n Jac, Play-Jac, etc. nylon windbreakers. Racing stripes and patches encouraged.

Maybe by now one of our members has obtained one of the original red windbreakers Jame Dean wore in Rebel Without A Cause and will be kind enough to post it. Or if not one of the originals, then the same brand would be almost as good.

Here's the only nylon windcheater which I own, dating from 1989. It's a relic from my 6 week summer glider pilot course as part of the Air Cadet system here in Canada. We lived on the Trenton AFB and did the classes and flying from two airfields on the Quinte Penninsula - both were old training AFBs left over from WW2. I graduated bottom of my class, as I recall. Anyways, one of my fellow classmates had some foresight and designed these jackets (and some sweat shirts) and had them made up. We flew Schweizer SGS 2-33 gliders, which some wags referred to as "T-33s", ha ha

Was it a staff uniform, or did Walmart have branding that was popular back in the early days when they were 'All-American'?

As it is, I think it's pretty cool, a sort of anti-branding thing. They could probably make a fortune selling these to hipsters now.

Amazon would probably do better these days since nobody hates it yet.

To anyone who knows - are there nylon coach jackets made of a better nylon than, say a Dickies version? We don't have a tradition of these in Australia at all but I own a Dickies coach in black nylon and it is almost the only jacket I need down here even in winter. Just wondering is there are other, more robust vintage options without buying used.
