I'm thinking it could be helpful to us tall gentlemen if we compiled a list of vintage leather jackets which run a little longer. What's out there?

So far I have:

-Vintage Brooks motorcycle jackets

That's it. Fire away.

Once I found an original Cable Raincoat Co. A-2 that miraculously fit me (I'm a 46 Long, shirt size 18 X 37). Replaced the moth-eaten cuffs and waistband and put in a working zip and voilà, a wearable WWII original! Sadly I sold it later on :-(
Not sure if Cable A-2's were cut longer then others, but that puppy fit me spot on.

How tall exactly are we talking about? I am little above 6.1 and I can't stand MC jackets over 24" in length.

I can attest to this. I have one that I'm just about to flog, and one of the problems for me is it's length.

In old Sears catalogs, the Tall model was for 6'. Once in a great while you can find a Tall Hercules, but they aren't marked as far as I know.

Many makers offered tall models and short models. Always get measurements and go from those. Buying from a certain manufacturer won't guarantee a good fit.
For example, I've had several Brimaco D-Pocket jackets, identical in the body, with sleeves that vary from 23 to 27 inches.
Also keep in mind that the fit favored on the Lounge now (long in the body and sleeves way over the hands) was not the way vintage jackets were worn originally, so getting that modern fit in a vintage jacket will be more difficult to find.
