Ooh, I have those shoes and I almost bought that jumper on eBay!

I've noticed a trend in blog-land of ladies putting together composites of ideal outfits and such. I have found this a great way to find new shops and open my fashion tastes a bit more. With that, I thought it would be interesting for the ladies of the lounge to composite their own outfit composites of vintage inspired clothes. I'm suggesting these composites stick to new clothes rather than vintage so that other ladies have the opportunity to construct the outfits and be opened to new shops.

I'll kick it off with a 1930s showgirl look!

• Kiss curl cocktail hat from Kiss Curl Millinery.

• High-waisted suspender pencil skirt from Go Go Retro. I was never a fan of the high-waisted suspender skirt, until I saw it on a friend of mine and it looked fabulous (and so wonderfully 1930s).

• Tamera Shirt from Forever 21. (They have so many keen blouses lately!)

• Tease heels from Poetic Licence (or Savoy pumps from Remix Vintage).

I'm excited to see what you ladies come up with!

Now, I'm wishing I did!

Oh, that is so wonderful and classic! Lady Day, I have seen some of your sewing creations and they make me want to dust off my machine. I'm sure you could whip that skirt together in no time at all!

I keep trying to "price my own", but then I start reciting my CC number in my head (I know it by heart) and I have to stop before I get into trouble!
