The Cairo Gang, a team of British assassins brought in to kill Irish guerrillas in Dublin, 1921. They were wiped out on Bloody Sunday in a series of raids by the IRA:

I find that I keep going back to that shot of "The Cairo Gang." I studied in Dublin and have read a fair amount about that time there, but this is new to me. Research time, I guess. Thanks, Blackthorn, for the great photos.

July 1923.... More than 2,000 Hupmobile owners and their families attended the second annual picnic, free-for-all sports program and barbecue staged July 1 by Greer-Robbins Co. at Sawyer's Camp, beside Crystal Springs Lake in San Mateo County.
