On Hiatus. Really. Or Not.
On its way to be cleaned...

Here's a terrific 1920s newsboy in a size 7-3/4. Thanks, Marc!

(Photos on my own noggin to come soon.)

I got the black 7-1/4 Linen one. At $5, or under $15 shipped, I got a heck of a deal.

Even with a broken brim, this one went for over $100.

Apparently, it pays to list a vintage newsboy cap in the vintage men's pants category! lol http://cgi.ebay.com/1930s-1940s-VIN...ptZVintage_Men_s_Clothing?hash=item4149972740

But seriously: it sold for over $100 because the sweatband's circumference is 23 1/4". That's big for a vintage cap.

Meanwhile, this '20s cap went for only $26. Why? Perhaps because it's very small. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-1940s-N...Men_s_Women_s_Accessories?hash=item1c0cc13b50

Capmaker in London

No cap here, but I believe this will be of interest:

A couple of weeks ago I spent a few days in London. In my search for vintage headgear (with little success ) I also visited the markets in East End. In Fournier Street, between Spitafields Market and Brick Lane, I stopped to admire the old storefronts, and there in the entrance beside The former "W. & A. Jones", now "Noir" shop, I spotted this little shield. Anyone ever saw a cap made in Fournier Street?

You are WAY too funny for your hats! Love this one for its total camp value! :eusa_clap

Yeah, well, umm.... D-Man competes (or did) at curling and from what I gather he's very good at it. So, although that tam is certainly fun and colorful, it is 'for real' where he's concerned - if that makes sense. :)
