Great stuff, VB!

Todays theme: Animals and people.

This first one is a cape clasp, which I lump with my buttons and buckles.

Thanks, VB.

I got those on eBay, but they made me realize Im not too into novelty buttons. I mean, what am I going to do with them? I cant put those on anything. So Ill stick with useable buttons from now on.

I want to stress -and this is very important- that Lady Day would NOT sell me her lovely green buttons. So the buttons you see here are the wallowing in self pity. Just so we are clear.

Two different types of diamond green buttons - one of these is concave.

I was wondering, why can't you use them on something? I would die for a blouse with those buttons, they are amazing!

First I wouldnt want to take them off the card. I guess thats the collector in me.

Second I wouldnt want to bother with all the questions.

Third, I dont think they are that attractive, but cool none the less.

Fourth I have no idea what I would use them on lol

And VB, I love my green buttons too much to part with them :)

Lady Day, tell us about the movie buttons; I've never seen those before.

And I *do* like your die-cut buttons, even if you won't sell me your green ones. lol

Wow.

I am really enjoying the button display!

VB, those Indian-head buttons could be as old as the coins - the Navahos make buttons out of coins for their velvet shirts and dresses. Do they have coin impression on the backs too?

Of course that doesn't mean they are old, my brother made some for me in the 70s...but they are cool.
