Vintage BORSALINO ALESSANDRIA men's fedora hat c. 1963 size 7

Hi to all...

... just wanted to draw the attention of lounge members to this item I have up on the block.
It was sold to me as a size 5 1/2 (old french size) equivalent to a contemporary 7 1/4... I knew I could get it to 7 3/8... no prob.
'ceptin' when I get it I note that the sweat is indeed marked 5 1/2, however the hat itself is plainly tagged as a 7..."NUTS!!!" says I...(okay, maybe it was a little stonger than "nuts")

So anyway, my loss is your gain (I hope) I have a reserve of $39 on it 'cause thats what I have in it... if anyone has something wide brimmed & high crowned in a 7 3/8 I would be amenable to a swap as well...
