Up for Auction Vintage 1930's-1950's watchstrap. This is made of some plastic or rubber type substance. Very likely for humid, whet locations... Strap is 16mm and a nice dark brown color. Great addition to your vintage watchstrap collection!

I think the date is a safe bet. The USMC had a very similar band from the WWII era.

Width, buckle style, and yes, it is similar to ones sold to military personnel at various times.
