Was hoping to get an update today about the jacket build being finished because it's pretty much the same timeframe others have mentioned. But alas. I think with time zone difference, London is done for the day. Maybe next week. It's all good though. The little extra time allowed me to sell some jackets and really hone in on what might be missing now. Think it all came together pretty well and I'm lined up for this jacket season with a nice surprise coming this time next year. Now we'll see if I can resist the urge for any pop up deals or jeez, that Dominator still keeps calling me LOL.

Only found in small sizes from Japan. I really like the minimalist look of it compared to a lot of their models as well. Looks pristine in the admittantly bad pics I've seen

I should have saved it when I saw it, but I stumbled on a Japanese Instagram post earlier in the week of a LL jacket make in black deer hide. It might have been a mistranslation, but it certainly looked like it.

LL is suppose to come out with a veg tan horse, so maybe wait to see what that is like.

Veg cow was never a default option, they added it only a few years ago due to the interest in veg tanned leather as far as I am aware.
And they are now adding a veg tan HH that will have the same upcharge.

I don't know about horsehide but I got a LL veg tan cowhide last spring. My understanding is the leather is tanned using vegetable tannins vs the (somewhat nasty) chemicals used in chromexcel leather. The LL veg tan is like tea core, over time as it wears the underlying brown leather color will show through. It is fairly smooth but even new has a patina and depth, not as smooth and flat as regular horse hide, but less texture than naked cowhide or sheepskin.

Haven't had the chance to go see it at the shop yet, I will report as soon as I do
