Vanson Panther, size 40, New

Hi all, I'm selling a jacket purchased new from Thurston last May. The jacket is one size too large for me. Bummer for me. I love the jacket, enough that I thought about just drinking more beer and eating more ice cream but in the end it'll be better all a round to pony up the greenbacks and buy a new jacket. The jacket is in new condition, warn around the house only.
Please let me know if I have forgotten anything!

Umm, my mistake. In my haste and lack of familiarity I misspoke/typed. I'm truthfully not completely sure how Thurstons relationship with other makers works... I'll change the title from Aero Panther to Vanson Enfield. Edit: doesn't look like I can change the title. Oh well. Please forgive my ignorance

Why don't you see if you can send it back and get some credit for a new jacket? That looks to be in like new condition.

It is like new condition. I spoke to the lovely lady there and she advised me of this site. The credit would be less than what I could get for it. At least that's what she suspected.

You thought it was an Aero..when it was actually a Vanson..?? Never heard of an Aero Panther. This sounds suspicious to me........

Yes I know. Purchased from Thurston last year. It was called a panther, modeled after the Vanson Enfield. I saw a jacket that I liked, purchased it and it doesn't fit. I'm getting a bit of an education on leather jackets and the makers of. Sorry it's suspicious. It's a shame we live in a world where a person can't buy something without fear of getting ripped off.

How could it be called and sold as an Aero Panther when it has a large Vanson tag inside the jacket that is very apparent and recognizable..?? What am I missing..??

I don't see anything in the Thurston Bros link about the jacket being an Aero. Seems it's advertised as a Vanson Panther which is a slim version of a Vanson Enfield. Must have been more than just in a hurry. Seems a little wonky to me...

It's not like the OP is trying to pass it off as an Aero, not with the Vanson tags and paperwork being all clearly visible like that and besides, it wouldn't do the OP much good anyway as both makers are relatively equally priced on the second hand market.

Yes weird. But a mistake. I thought that Aero was Thurstons in house brand and that I was more accurately representing the jacket because I was and still am under the impression that Thurston made this jacket. Maybe not?? They sold it to me. Stupid mistake done in haste as I was leaving town and couldn't bring myself to give any more money to eBay. I now understand Aero to be a completely separate maker of leather jackets.

I remember these jackets and yes they are a Thurston Bros. offering made for them by Vanson. TB has several models that they sell which are Thurston exclusives but made by Vanson. I see no malicious intent here...just a mistake. Nice jacket BTW!
