It's not the elastic band ...it's a manufacture defect. There was another jacket with the same problem in the front floating around here not long ago....
really? Can you maybe link it?
But this is crazy because I think this is not a model which is from an actual collection. I think it is a few years old.

I closed the paypal case. Both of the elastic bands are intact. But when this is really a manufacture defect, I cannot sell this jacket, lol. Who will buy a defect jacket :D
With a really thick aran sweater under the jacket (new pics)

Does the back look so different then here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/introduction-and-fit-pics-of-vanson-jacket.92702/
or here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/in-love-with-an-old-er-vanson-enfield.84909/

or here (third picture): https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/9845/vanson-leathers
?

On the left side it comes more out then on the right side, but on the right side is also the leather like broken in.

When I understand correctly, here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/the-newest-vanson-enfield-review.56938/

it looks the same as mine, but there is the right side more "coming out".

With nick you mean the thing on the left side at the back?
Yes left side at the back apologies if I got that wrong, the main thrust of my concern is will you ever be happy with this jacket? If the answer is ‘probably not’, in my case I always move them on & eBay is generally the best place to shift them (Have tried classified here first with occasional success).

Yes, you are right... I will never happy with it, so I will sell it on ebay.

But... How can I really know, If this is a damage/defect on the left side at the back? Maybe it only does not fit in the right way on me? Maybe there is no defect?

I’d just put it on the bay with lots of pictures and measurements, I’m sure it’s likely to sell quickly and you’ll have funds to try another.

TBH I’ve never ended up keeping a jacket that I wasn’t delighted with from the start.

All my current leathers are ‘keepers’ but it took years of trial and error.

I wish you luck..

Thank you! Yes, I hope, I will sell it quickly. Then I can search for a new jacket... maybe one in brown...
